Overview
Legal7 operates on a pay-per-minute and fixed-fee document model. All fees are paid upfront before availing any service. This policy sets out when and how refunds may be processed.
Payment Terms
All fees are paid upfront and in advance before availing any services at Legal7. We accept payments via UPI, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Amex), net banking and popular wallets — all processed securely via Razorpay (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified).
There will be a nominal deduction of 7–10% in the amount refunded towards online payment processing charges on any refund that is processed. The refund will be processed directly to the original payment source (bank account, credit card, or wallet).
Cancellation
Cancellation of an order is not possible once payment has been made and the service has commenced. However, the following exceptions apply:
- Talktime top-ups — full refund within 48 hours of purchase if no call has been made
- Document orders — full refund if drafting has not yet commenced (typically within 24 hours of order)
- Non-performance — if Legal7 is unable to deliver the service, a full refund will be initiated
No refunds will be given for services that have been partially or fully delivered, except in cases of non-performance or at Legal7's sole discretion.
Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed as follows:
- Refund request reviewed within 24 hours
- Approved refunds initiated within 3 business days
- Amount credited to original payment source within 5–7 business days (depends on bank/payment provider)
- Nominal deduction of 7–10% for payment processing charges applies
Talktime Wallet
Talktime minutes purchased and credited to your Legal7 wallet:
- Never expire — unused minutes remain in your wallet indefinitely
- Non-transferable — minutes cannot be transferred to another user account
- Auto-credit on failed calls — sub-10-second drops are credited back instantly
- Deducted in real-time — only for connected, successful call duration
